©      DEVONIAN FOSSILS

The fossils seen below are from the middle Devonian period and are found in the Guilmette
formation of eastern Nevada and Western Utah. These are all marine fossils that lived in and
around a shallow reef in the Devonian sea. Dolomite and Limestone and some small amounts
of sandstone were formed in this shollow sea and make up most of the rock that the fossils are
embedded in.
